Cable Seals

ACT! offers a full line of cable seals, that are the most technically advanced in the market. Our cable seal, is used to secure shipping containers and railway cars. It also seals any valuable conveyance with a locking hasp aperture from 1/32 to 3/8 inch (3mm to 6mm). Our cable seals has proven their value in the most vulnerable traffic corridors of the world.

Our cable seal consists of the body, steel aircraft cable, and the internal locking mechanism. A seven-digit seal number and other data are cold stamped or laser printed on the body. Though more expensive to produce, cold stamping or laser is preferred to inkjet printing which provides minimal security. Also, users can seal any object without tools in no more than 10 seconds.

The seal is protected from copying and tampering by its patent-pending design. A custom non-standard print font further protects the seal. Even our trademark welding of parts is achieved through a unique technique that offers extra security.

Unlike other seemingly similar but non-premium grade cable seals on the market, our patented design cannot be tampered without leaving evidence through any currently known means, including picking the mechanism, freezing the mechanism, ratcheting the cable from the mechanism, or replacing the actual cable. Our competition cannot make this claim, preferring to caution customers that any seal can be breached without evidence, given time, tools and opportunity. ACT! products easily challenge that claim.

Bolts

Bolts are another way to seal your cargo.  We suggest use of this less expensive and more vulnerable product only if you are extremely familiar with your application and the overall security of your supply chain.
